In my experience of working with the Buttafly, I quickly learned not to under-estimate the profound effect that can result from lying down in supine with the sacrum off-loaded. It is vital that on removing the Buttafly, one takes at least a few minutes to allow the changes to be fully integrated by the body. Afterwards, in order to get up, it’s helpful to roll all the way over onto one side, then use the hands to push up into sitting, so avoiding using the tummy muscles.
